LEED & Energy Star Certification Services

Developed by the US Green Building Council [USGBC], LEED – or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – is an internationally recognized green building certification system. LEED provides building owners and operators with a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable strategies for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving environmentally responsible buildings. LEED also helps investors meet their ESG goals through the implementation of management practices that prioritize building efficiency, decrease operational costs, increase asset value, and ensure productivity, comfort, health, and wellbeing for occupants. Learn More about our LEED and Energy Star certification services today.

LEED-certified buildings command the highest rents, while lease-up rates typically range from average to 20% above average; vacancy rates for green buildings are an estimated 4% lower than non-green properties.

ENERGY STAR Certification Services

Originally developed by the Environmental Protection Agency [EPA] to promote energy-efficient products and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager has become the industry standard for measuring and tracking energy performance within commercial buildings. Learn More

On average, ENERGY STAR-certified buildings use 35 percent less energy and generate 35 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions than their peers. Learn more about ENERGY STAR certification.

Green Globes

Based on the Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method [BREEAM], the Green Globes rating system assess a building’s environmental and energy performance in the areas of project management, site, energy, water, resources, emissions/effluents, and indoor environment. With a lower barrier to entry than some programs, new and existing commercial buildings can be acknowledged with a rating of one to four globes based on a minimum 35% rating on a 1,000-point rating system.   Learn More

Net Zero Energy

A Net Zero Energy Building [NZEB] generates enough renewable energy on-site to meet or exceed its usage on a net annual basis. Minimizing energy consumption through combined passive and active design strategies, and system efficiency, is critical to achieving net zero energy. Energy to meet this reduced demand can be produced by harnessing solar, wind, or geothermal power. Embraced by the International Living Future Institute [ILFI] and Architecture 2030, Net Zero Energy Buildings are an essential tool in the fight against climate change. Learn More

WELL Building Standard

The WELL Building Standard focuses on how a building impacts the health and wellness of its occupants. The WELL Building Standard lays out optimal conditions for holistic, integrated approach to sustainability. Areas of concentration include air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort, and mind. The WELL Building Standard also seeks to address key elements of occupant health including focus, energy, form, sleep, stress, longevity, development, beauty, vitality, resilience, and alignment. Fitwel

Informed by analysis of over 5,600=academic research studies, Fitwel was developed to foster a healthier future in which buildings and communities are designed to strengthen health and well-being. Fitwel evaluates buildings using 55 evidence-based design and operational strategies that enhance buildings by addressing a broad range of health behaviors and risks. Learn More

RESET Standard

The first sensor-based and performance-driven certification program for the built environment. RESET creates a framework for continuous facility monitoring and benchmarking with an emphasis on data quality. The RESET Standard assesses a facility’s materials, air, water, energy, and circularity to measure building performance and quality. Learn More
